What I’ll be doing when Battlefront 3 releases
clone wars was great
this version not the 3d animated one
3D Animated one was piss imo
not enough clone action (I think the one in this gif is commander fox?)
Yeah, it’s Fox. Also the movie for the 3D version was pretty hardcore (at least in the clone scenes) and the show started with good intentions, went sour due to CN heavily censoring it, tried to go back with Season 2, and then fucked itself with terrible storytelling.

Not denying the fact that the 2D version was badass, fucking Grievous stomped on a jedi and killed him instantly.
But the 3D wasn’t TOO bad, and it at least tried.
The beginning scene in the movie was brutal, the one platoon leader gets up to tell his men to start running into battle and as soon as he gets up you just see his head get shot off
One of the clones runs out of ammo, throws his gun down and tries to bitch slap a droid, breaks his hand, screams in agony, and then gets shot to shit, followed by Commander Cody going all berserk mode on the droids
Not to mention the scene where it was just Rex and another clone surrounded by droids, they lifted up the droid like a pinata and all just fucking shot him up.
The movie was pretty metal haha
yeah mean Im not dissing the 3d movie rex was a fucking beast in the 3d version but the 2d version just had more of an impact on me

Ye, they tried having the other clone commanders involved in the series, and usually had one in each episode (unless it was Rex) but they barely ever actually RECOGNIZED them besides an appearance and maybe one line or two. It was kinda sad.
But I mostly blame cartoon network for making the show as shitty as they did. The episode that involved the rookies on the moon base being invaded by the assassin droids, that was the very last episode the creators had full creative entitlement to.
so pretty much we agree that the clone commanders in both versions were pretty bad ass at some point
No doubt about that.
My main nigga Bacara was the one that didn’t follow through on Order 66 and had an epic showdown with Cody back at the cloning facilities.
Fucking brilliant story options for these clones, and barely anyone gets to hear about it.
